My in-laws want to transfer title of their property to us, but there is a lien on the property. Will the lien follow the title, and if so, can it affect the other 2 properties we currently own? thanks

Welcome Triple.

Yes, the lien will remain on the title. Moreover, if the lien holder comes to know about the transfer of title, he'd prefer that the lien is paid off. It won't affect other properties you own.

Thanks
