Hi priyaforum!

Welcome to forums!

You can transfer a property with the help of property deeds. Property deeds can be of different types like quitclaim deed, warranty deed, grant deed etc.

A quitclaim deed is a legal document which can used to transfer any real estate property from one person to another. There are two parties in respect to this deed are - the grantor or the seller and the grantee or the buyer. While the interest is transferred from a grantor to a grantee, no warranty is made on the rights that others may claim from the property.

A warranty deed, on the other hand, is a legal document which transfers property free and clear of liens. There are two types of warranty deed - general warranty deed and special warranty deed.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
