My wife and i purchased vacant property ( no dwellings) about 5 years ago, she was my realtor on the purchase. the property has been in my name, as the down payment was from a family inheritance, on my side. there was a quit claim deed filed with me as the grantee and my wife / realtor as grantor. now we are getting a divorce. the property has since been paid off, via a 2nd mortgage on our house. my question is does she have any right to any interest in the property.

Hi Milo!

Welcome to forums!

If your wife's name is not mentioned on the property deed, then she won't be able to claim any ownership rights to the property. Thus, she won't have any interest in the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
