daniel starcher Guest	Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 9:30 am    Post subject: quit claim deed Like 0 Dislike 0 im in the process of refinancing my home.i just got a divorce from my wife and she signed and filled out a quit claim deed form and had it notorized.now do i get it recorded right away or do i wait until its refinanced into my name only?

You should contact the county recorder's office in order to record the deed. Then you can refinance the mortgage in your name. Thanks
