oilfieldman Guest	Posted: Wed Jan 26, 2011 10:28 am    Post subject: property Like 0 Dislike 0 my x-girlfriend recorded a quit claim deed and put her name on it while i was incarcerated. i never got my first quit claim deed recorded before i went to jail. now she wants me to sell property and give her half. she got married as soon as i went to jail. she lied to the grantor and told her i signed old quit claim deed over to her and she lost it. therefore they made a new one and got it recorded and scewed me.. This is a complex situation and you will have to contact an attorney and take his opinion regarding the whole matter.
