My mother has a reverse mortgage and I want to take my name of the quitclaim deed. Although the loan is in her name, her children, whos names are on the deed, had to sign the loan documents as well. Can we do this?

Hi Jen!

Welcome to forums!

You can sign a quitclaim deed in order to remove your name from the property deed. Unless you're 62 years old, you won't be able to get a reverse mortgage. So, there is no need to sign the loan documents.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
