A grantor is willingly quit claiming property that grantee is encroaching on - 0.0024 acres - as a result of a bad survey by grantee. Does the grantee need to sign the QCD?

Hi dalebrittain,

As far as I know only a few states require the grantee to sign a quitclaim deed. In most of the states the signature of the grantor on the deed does suffice. However, I'm not too sure whether that is applicable in texas. You can ask the county recorder's office. I'm sure they can give you the exact answer.
