ChrisF Guest	Posted: Fri Jan 28, 2011 1:58 pm    Post subject: quitclaiming a timeshare Like 0 Dislike 0 My husband and I own a timeshare week (it is paid for in full). We can no longer afford to pay the increasing annual maintenance fees and would like to get out of timeshare ownership (which is very difficult). We can't seem to give it away either - nobody wants the financial burden associated with these annual fees. I was wondering if we could quitclaim our timeshare week back to the resort and say goodbye to timeshare ownership forever!

You're right in saying that most people don't want to undertake the fees even though you're giving the week away. _________________ George M.
