I have 20 acres of land and 2 roads, one on either side of the property. My question is that I have the deeds for the property and one deed for the two roads. It is shown on the Plat map as 30 ft roads. I have been having trouble with neighbors wanting to use our roads to get to their property so that they do not have to put in their own driveway or road. My lawyer died last year, but he said that I could have the county commisioner Quit Claim the roads over to me because they are not county roads but rather personal property roads. These two roads are just dirt roads of approximately 30 ft wide by 492 ft long. I need to know that if I should also file some sort of form to change the 30ft roads to personal property as to adjoin them to the existing lots on each side?

Hi Debrataz,

You should contact another attorney and discuss the matter with him. He or she will guide you in the right direction.

Thanks
