my great grandmother has died and left a house to my mother but she dosent want it i would like to take it but am not sure how other than paying the 30+ thousand in taxes or hiring a hitman onmy mom wich i cant do will a quit claim deed help this problem

side note the house can not transfer titiles till the prop taxes are payed so may i jump in some where before it is willed to that person

Hi Guest,

If the property is in your mother's name, then she will have to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. As far as the property taxes are concerned, you will have to clear them or else, the IRS can place a tax lien on the property.
