cost 4 quit claim deed?

i need to know what the cost is for 7 quitclaim deeds on 7 properties for a divorce settlement.

Most title companies only charge 50 to 100 to prepare them. You will also have a recording cost for each one with the county where the property is located. You will have to call the county recorders office for a quote or the title company may be able to get those figures for you also.

You can also do it yourself by getting the form (online or at office supply store), fill it out, get notorized, take to your local county court house and get recorded. Very easy, but if properties are scattered in different counties, might be worth the money to have atty do it.
