Hi Bthahir,
Welcome to the forum.
A person holding the Waiver of Rights means that he is released from all rights and actions like any claims, debts, liabilities, obligations and cost of damages.
But with a quitclaim deed, only the ownership rights of a person to the property get transferred. The person does not get relief from any other rights. |

Hi judith,
I would suggest the new wife to contact an attorney and discuss her options. The attorney will let her know what steps she needs to take.
Thanks |
