hello, I owe like $721.00 dollars to Discover credit card company they took me to court awhile back and told me an amount to pay each month, which I did for awhile, but then I lost my job, and could not pay any longer. Now, they went back to court and judge agreed that I owe the money which I dont deny I owe however plus fees ect.... I am worried can they and if so, what could they put a lien on?? I live in Maryland Prince Georges county, I only own a car that is a 1996. I live on public housing/.sect 8 and get food stamps. I have kids at home and dont work. I only have a limited income with child support. Can they put a lien on anything I own, and what? thanks v ery worried.

They may place a lien on the car that you own. In case they don't do so, they may charge off the debt and assign it to a collection agency.

Adonis is right in saying so. The debts can be charged off and the collection agency can contact you for the debts.
