Are you referring to a mortgage that is already in place? Possibly there is, you can ask your mortgage lender if they'd allow someone to be added to the mortgage... if their credit isn't impaired I think there would be a good chance they'd allow the other person to.

Usually you have to do a complete refinance so the lender can assess the co-borrower.
