We did every thing we could do and it was to the point that that was all they were going to do. Our son was in terrible health from all the mild and our daughter had started to get hives also. The lawyer was the one who advised us to abandon the mobile home.I wonder still if that was the best choice instead of fighting them in court, the thing did go against our credit as what was lacking after the sale of it. I wonder to this day if they disclosed the problems with the home before the sale.Although it could not be said as we abandoned it as my hubby called the loan company and explained in detail what was going on.They sold the mobile home right on the lot at auction.

Patrica...this just happened recently in our state. There was a mobile home company that was selling new homes with mold problems. The news around here did a special reprot on it and its victims. some people bought new mobile homes and only lived in them a few months before getting sick. they still had to pay the payment. The last thing I heard is that the company had to go in a repair the homes. they have never since updated. It really is a shame when you are not the one in the wrong and yet you have to pay. Hope you children are recovered being that some time has past.
My husband also had a car that repoed years back. We bought it second hand from a car lot with a 90 day warranty. Almost immmediately the transmission started to leak. We took it back and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Next we placed a piece of cardboard under it while it was parked to prove it leaked. They kept it for a couple days said it was repaired well it wasn't. Took it to our own garage and found out the tranny was just doctored up enough to get it sold. We took the report on the car with the garages phone number back to the lot and they refused to fix it. We were just starting out and had very few funds. WE couldn't afford a lawyer to fight them, couldn't afford to pay to fix it...so we let it go back...haunted us until we just made payment arrangements with the bank to pay the huge amount laft over...They sold it dirt cheap...due to transmission problems..Imagine that.

I think that the car dealers that deal in used cars should have some type of liability here under the lemon law right? or is this just on new cars. I know you always take a chance on a used car and if you don't have the knowledge or the tools to work on them, you probably should not buy them, sorry you had to learn the hard way that they do not honor their end of the bargain fireyone. Glad it is all behind you.

Its done and over now. There was no lemon laws at the time so we were out of luck. I love how they have that thing now where you can check out the vehicles past..can not remember what its called..but I feel the dealership selling the used car should give you this report for free if yolu purchase a vehicle from them.

It is a vehix report, shows everything that the vehicle has been through, I think the dealerships should provide them on used vehicles too.

Someday we will be looking for a truck for hubby and I am gonna ask for one. I think if you are paying reasonable mon ey for a vehicle they shouldn't have a problem with this.
