my ex wife of 6 half years verbally agreed when we got divorced I kept house she took car i want to refinance my house but she wants money now i don't want to give her any because we lived together only 19 months before she cheated and moved out. Do I have to give her any or is their a way i can get the courts to make he sign off with out having to pay her anything.

Welcome to the forum.

I think in this case you should contact with an attorney as things may get ugly. I think you should pay her the share of home equity that she has. BTW if she has already quitclaim the property then she cannot claim it again. So has she quitclaimed the property to you?

Real estate contracts must be in writing to be enforceable. You will have to cut a new deal with her now. This time, get it in writing.
