We just got an offer of 5.6% interest rate on a refinance is that fare? We have had the house over 16months and never missed a payment nor have we ever been late.. My wife's credit score is 513..

Not only would I say that is fair, I would say it is a gift.

I would have no idea how to get you any mortgage with a credit score of 513. Did you misprint the credit score? Maybe 613??

I agree with John. If your wife is on the loan with that credit score, then you are getting a great rate.
