i bought a house thru owner finance.how can i refinance it if the market is upside down.can i get out of it?

Hi kimjeune,

Welcome to the forums.

Since you've been into an owner financing contract, therefore, I feel you can refinance even if the market is upside down. But it depends upon the seller though. Have a talk with him and find out what he has to say.

You wont be able to finance it if you owe more than it will appraise for?
