Mom is on the mortgage alone, I paid to get in, paying the note and I am on title with the county. Do I have the purchase the house from her to get her name off the mortgage or can I refinance in my own name?

Hi nubinstud,

You have mentioned that your name is on the property deed. In that case, you can simply refinance the loan in your name. Once you refinance the loan in your name, you would be responsible for paying the mortgage dues.
