I have 347.a misdemeanor offense record and my probation ends January 2010, should this affect my loan refinancing? Does it make a difference if I apply for a the loan now or after the probation ends, or expunged? Is this going to be brought up during loan processing, because I'm still trying to conceal this incident to my partner and co-borrower as much as possible.

Thanks.

Hi miguelcaus,

The rules may vary from lender to lender. In my opinion, it would be a better idea if you could apply for a loan after your probation ends. However, your best bet would be to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He would be the best person to help you.
