Where in my loans documents does it mention my loan being recourse vs. non-recourse? In the note? I have read this many times and don't see these words at all. Is there any type of language I should be looking for? This is my primarily residence in California and I did refinance a couple of years ago. I refinanced into a first and a second, but have since paid off my second completely.

Hi raccoon,

If the loan documents do not mention whether or not it's a recourse loan, then you will have to contact the lender. Your lender can inform you whether or not the loan is recourse or non-recourse one.

Thanks
