Hi,
Is your sister just on the deed or is she on the loan too? If she is only on the deed, you can have her quit claim her interet to you and then you can do whatever your like. The key is whether or not you can refinance it on your own. Your best bet is to get a referral from the mortgagefit forum and let one of the qualified lenders (not Marty) pre-qualify you to see what your best option is.
Good luck,

Hi wwwgetdownorlaydown!
If your sister's name is not on the mortgage deed, then you do not require to refinance the mortgage. She can simply sign a quitclaim deed in your name and give away the property rights to you. In case she in the mortgage deed, then you need to refinance after she quitclaims.
Thanks. _________________ Good is the Enemy of Great. |
