I want to transfer property from my grandfather to my name.
please let me know how I can do this ? what is procedure?

Hi dilipgagare

You can ask your grandfather to transfer the property in your name with the help of a quitclaim deed. Once he signs a quitclaim deed, you will have to notarize it and record it at the county recorder's office.
