Guest	Posted: Wed Apr 13, 2011 5:44 pm    Post subject: can I search the books of business that is not paying 2nd mo Like 0 Dislike 0 I am a 2nd mort. holder on a strip mall and the business that owns the mall have stopped making their payment to me. I think they have plenty of cash but are not paying. I would like to get a look at their books. As the 2nd mort. holder, have I got the right to see the books of the company?

I'm not sure whether or not you will be able to have a look at their books but you can take legal actions against them if they are not paying off the debts. You should contact an attorney and check out what legal actions you might take against them. Thanks
