i had a house go in forclosue.it was in my dads name.they sold the house on auction.the house had a second mortgage.100.000.the second mortgage was up to date.my dad bought me another house for cash 50000.it will be in my name.the second mortgage company keeps calling my dad telling him hes responsible for that loan.is he?can they put a lean on his house.he has no mortgage.

Though your father's property was sold in a foreclosure auction, I think only the first mortgage dues were satisfied. The second lender has the rights to sue your father for it's dues. Thus, your father will have to satisfy the second loan. If your father can't satisfy the dues of the second lender, then he may place lien on any of his properties. However, your property would be safe.
