Second mortgage poor credit

I have a home need equity fast looking at a second mortgage but credit is poor and I am stretched to the limit.

any suggestions

Hi Rich.

Welcome to the forum.

If you have poor credit then you should try to improve your credit first. You can also get a second mortgage but you may have to pay higher interest rates. So try to improve you credit first; and then go for a second mortgage.

The reason I am applying for a second mortgage is to repair my credit - Just got finish putting my daughter through college which is why it is in disrepair.
