I am the personal representative of an estate that holds a first mortgage as an asset. Does your company buy such mortgages?

Do you have to be a certified lender to loan someone a morgage and if so, can the loan be sold in the secondary market?
What are guarantee fees?

Hi Kym,

Welcome to the MortgageFit Forums.

We do have a strong network of lenders who are certified and well experienced in their field.

The loan can be sold to a secondary market if required but that won't bother you.

Guarantee fee is paid by the borrower to the guarantee agency to insure the loan. The Guarantee agency charges the lender. This fee is no more than 1% and is deducted from the loan fund before the borrower receives it.

Feel free to ask if you require more help. We will be happy to extend our service.

God bless you.

For MortgageFit,
Samantha

Can my lender sell my loan to an investor at a steep discount? All payments were made on time and there is no reason to believe that I would not perform. Are there any regulations requiring banks to sell these mortgages at a certain rate?

Hi JohnJohn!

Welcome to forums!

The lender can sell your loan to another lender, investor or a service agency. But as far as I know, the terms and rates of the loan are based on your note and will not change.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
