Welcome to mortgagefit

you can quitclaim the deed without the lawyer but you need to get all the documents notarized and at that time you need to go to notary.SO if your bank is offering a notarized services at lower cost, you can also contact them.

Just for consultation purpose, I don't think you will require any lawyer.
