I have been doing all my stuff online the past five years or so and it all seems to work out okay.

I find they are easy as long as you don't have anything real involved. I will usually do mine by short form and by long form and let the system figure out the best way to do it.

There are some really good programs online to do your taxes, HR block has one as good as walking into their storefront and they back you up in an audit.

If you go to the irs web page you will see a whole list of companies that they have checked out and cleared as safe to use.

I think that many people have started using these programs and are very happy with them. They all offer the direct deposit option or the direct pay if you owe. I have found them very useful and good as well.

I use them every year now, they have been very good to me, I owed and they took the money out on the day that they were supposed to. They have good communication with the irs anyway. Things went very smoothly.

They do get some really good reports from everyone that uses them and the hr block one comes with auditing protection even for the cheap version.

Hi sean s,

Yes, if you have purchased a home between April 8, 2008 and July 1, 2009, and you get up to $ 7,500 refundable tax credit. And it is also true that you will have to pay it back at 500.00 per year for 15 years.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi nisha,

As far as I know, according to the new auto stimulus or car buyer incentive, loan taken to purchase a new car can now be tax deductible. However, I would still suggest you to contact a tax adviser and discuss the issue with him.

Thanks

I am not that much interested with the software because all the basic calculations are available with calculator.

One does not need complex formulas in order to do a basic maths. How does it sound to you?

gunzi you have stated it quite well. if we can do it ourselves, why go spend money on a piece of software to do it for us? i am in full agreement.
