In a divorce, the wife is the one awarded with the house by the court. Both husband and wife were on the house deed. Now to prepare quit claim of deed, who should be the grantor?
both husband and wife ? ---because both are on the original deed,
or husband alone as grantor?

This is in Tennessee, Knox county!

Welcome stat,

As the house has been granted to the wife, the husband should sign the quit claim deed in wife' favor. The husband and the wife will be the grantor of the property whereas the wife will be the grantee.
