My Husband had our home refinanced to pay the loan off sooner. I am listed as Homesteader. I signed a prenuptial agreement before we were married. What are my rights after signing on all the new refinancing as Homesteader. Will this allow me an on going interest in our home if we decided to divorce?? Thank you

I am also listed on 401k
He has also left me life insurance

Hi janicetyler,

You will have to check out whether or not your name is mentioned on the property. If your name is mentioned on the property deed, then you will be able to claim your interest in the property in case of a divorce.

Thanks
