Im trying to refinace my home the loan is presently under the Texas A6 law since I refinaced my home in 2006 due to a divorce settlement agreement per the judges orders. Please advise me of what I can do to proceed to refinace and get out from under this type of loan an obtain a lower interest rate.

Hi gnbarrera,

You should note that a home cannot have more than one Texas A6 loan. Also, it should be noted that a Texas A6 loan cannot be refinanced within the first 12 months. As more than 2 years have passed since you refinanced the loan, you should be able to get a refinance. To know more about Texas A6, check out the given page:
