Good Evening...

I'm attempting to refinance both my original mortgage loan along with a Texas A6 loan that closed in Sep 08. Does the rule pertaining to preventing refinancing of the A6 loan within 12 months prevent me from rolling these two into one?

If so, why was this rule instituted. Appears a consumer is taking a hit by not allowing them to package and refinance these loans for lower interest rates.

Thanks

Hi

As far as I know, you cannot refinance a Texas A6 loan within the first 12 months. So, I believe you will have to wait till Sep, 2009 to be able to refinance the loan.
