I closed on an a6 loan 9/21/2008. Do I have to wait past 9/21/2009 to even apply again or can I appy now and close the new loan after the 9/21/2009 waiting period?

Hi sjg,

You need to wait for at least 1 year to refinance your existing Texas a6 loan. But I believe the waiting period for refinance is calculated from the date you close on the existing Texas a6 loan till the date you close on the new loan. Thus, I think you can start applying for the new loan because it will take about a month or more to close on it. By the time you close on the new loan, the waiting period will be over.
