My fiance just closed a house a month ago. He want to add me to the title because I loaned him money on the down payment. How can we do that?

Hi joyxlu!

Welcome to forums!

Your fiance can add your name to the property deed by signing a quitclaim deed. He will have to write his name as the grantor of the property whereas both his and your name will be mentioned as the grantee to the property. Then the deed needs to be notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
