| My husband and I have excellent credit and only have a school loan of less than 100 per month. We bring home about 65,000 per year. How much of a mortgage can I afford in Denton, Texas. |

Hi
There's a calculator on this site which can help you determine "how much mortgage I can afford". This, I think, will give you some idea about how much of a mortgage you would be able to afford. Through this calculator, you'll come to know whether your monthly income is sufficient enough to help you afford the mortgage or the home you're looking for. |

rande, you ought to give one of your local lenders a call and pose that question. $65000 annual income ought to buy you a pretty decent property. monthly payments of as much as $1900 - $2000 would be achievable, i'd think. _________________ George M. Akerley
