I bought a house in texas--on a assumption and have paid it off. I have the special warranty deed with a vendor's lien when I bought the property and when I paid it off the mortgage company sent me the release of lien. What else do I do to make sure everything is correct. I took to our courhouse the release of lien and they recorded it..Is this all I need to do?

Hi eliactida!

Welcome to forums!

You have done the correct thing be recording the release of lien in the county recorder's office. As far as I know, you don't need to do anything else.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
