If you had filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, then you need to wait for 1 year to get a FHA loan and 2 years for conventional loan. In case you filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then you will have to wait for 2 years to get FHA loan and 4 years to get conventional loan. _________________ Procrastination is the enemy of your financial success
