In Texas, how much savings /cash can you keep away from bankruptcy? If I have a signed lease agreement, can I prepaid some of my rent 4-6 months before bankruptcy?

Hi Cara!

Welcome to forums!

I don't think it will be a good option to pre-pay your rent. You should wait till your bankruptcy filing gets discharged and then pay off your rent.
