Can a notary close a Cash Out Home Equity Refi in Texas, if it is in an attorney's office, Lenders office or title office OR does an attorney have to close the loan?

Thanks
Toni

Hi Guest,

It is the loan officer who will close the loan. It is not mandatory that a attorney has to close the loan.

Thanks

Hi Guest,

Welcome to Mortgagefit,

Final authority on the loan sanction is loan officer and all the other mentioned officers are assisting in their particular specialty to the lenders to award/reject the loan applications.

Although there are plenty of middlemen guarantee to get 100 % approval but this is just a promotion of their campaign. You can not completely say that your loan is approved till the time loan officer does not put his seal and signature.

Feel free to ask any further query if you have........
