I plan on doing a refinance - cash out soon.

The status of the loan will not change. But I don't think that it will disqualify you from getting another cash out loan. You can speak to the lenders of your area and check out if they are ready to offer you a refinance. You can also speak to the lenders of this community and seek a no obligation free consultation from them. This will let you know the rates and terms you may receive when you refinance.
