I recently married and have a home in Sugar Land, Tx. I have leased the house furnished. It is a single family home which is paid for. I am interested in obtaining a cash out mortgage on this property and I am trying to find out what percentage of total value of the home I can obtain and what other requirements I need to know. My credit score is 750. Any current information on this would be very helpful.

Hi pst,

If there is equity in your property, then you will be able to get a cash out refinance on it. You'll have to pay 20% down payment for the loan. You'll receive financing for the rest of the 80%.

Thanks
