What are the steps I need to take for a deed in lieu of foreclosure in Texas? My mom passed away in January and I'm the executor of the estate. Do I need to give out my personal information and my husband's information too? By this I mean giving out my social security number.

Hi martha,

You don't have to provide your personal details (SSN) to the DIL company.....So never ever expose it to anybody in this dealing....

for more information ou can visit

Feel free to ask any further query if you have.........

Welcome Martha,

You will have to inform the lender about your financial situation and give some personal information. I don't think giving away personal information will affect your credit in any way.
