What are the statute of limitations for a DEFICIENCY JUDGMENT resulting from a short sale in the state of TX? I'm activated military. Am I protected from a DJ under the soldiers and sailors act?

Hi Guest,

The statute of limitations in order to collect the deficiency judgment is for 2 years in Texas. As far as the Soldiers and Sailors' Act is concerned, I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this matter.

Thanks
