The IRS wants me to get letters of denial on a home equity loan. The loan institutions will not accept an application. What do I do. They said there was a Tx. law forbidding this type of loan.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

As far as I know, home equity loans are allowed in Texas. You should speak to some other local lenders and take their opinion in this regard. You can even speak to a Texas based attorney and he may help you in this regard.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
