If working out of state and wanting to buy a home in texas could you or would have to be working in texas to buy it.

Hi andrewrob.

Welcome to the forum. I think it is not necessary for a borrower to work in that particular state to buy a property. Your credit history, income and DTI ratio will be taken into account for getting approved for the loan.
