HI. MY MOM RESIDES IN TX. SHE HAS DEMENTIA AND HAS MEDICAIDE.SHE ALREADY HAS A WILL STATING THAT THE HOUSE BE SOLD AFTER SHE PASSES. IS THE STATE GOING TO TAKE HER HOUSE AWAY TO RECOUPE THE HER ASSISTANCE THAT HAS BEEN GIVING TO HER. ALSO CAN I ASK YOU MORE QUESTIONS LATER. THANK YOU

As far as I know, the Medicaid can take away the property after your mother passes away. However, to be on the safer side, it will be better to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
