How do I transfer land I inherited to my name? Land is in Texas and I am a Canadian citizen.

Land is in Te Like 0 Dislike 0 My sister has land in her name and she died leaving me everything. I live in Canada and need to know how to transfer that land to my name.

If there is no will, then you will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office where the property is located and get the property transferred in your name.
