Hello All,

I am very new to this so please forgive me for my ignorance.
After the passing of my husband last year my mother-in-law informed me of some land that was in his name. Now my husband and I resided in California and the land is in Georgia. I would like to turn the land back over to his mother but I would like to know if there would be any complications since I now reside in Texas? Or if it even matters.
I hope that all made sense!

your location ought not to cause you any difficulty. complicated? only that you're in texas and she's in georgia and you'll need a deed that is germane to georgia. i dare say you can probably engage an attorney in texas to help you through this and make it effective.
