Hi shaden
You will have to check out your mortgage documents in order to know whether your loan has a prepayment penalty clause or not. You can even contact your lender and check out if there is such a clause mentioned in your loan doc.

Thank you so much for your fast reply. Texas has very stringent guidelines on cash-out refi's, I've since looked up those guidelines and it states that no pre-payment penalties are allowed on Texas cash-out refi's.
